I have been in the industry for just over 4 years now, mainly as a P&C agent but also am getting into health/life moreso that I am starting my own agency. First and foremost, im in a position where i have many companies that are eager to appoint me, so long as im carrying E&O coverage. I have had it previously through my employer, but im not covered any longer as i am on my own. Im finding what seems would be a simple matter of getting this coverage to be rather difficult. I sure could use any idea's or advice any of you have as to which direction to go, when most carriers are wanting 3+ years Agency Management experience even to quote? Its a catch 22, i cant sell for the companies i want without it, and i cant get it unless i am selling...
