If for instance she is diagnosed by the doctor with cancer it may cause a decline. But if the test are negative it may have no effect. There are also guaranteed issue policies avaialble but the rates are of course higher. For the most part health plays a big part in getting coverage and that is determined by underwriters and MIB reports. It wouldn't hurt to submit an application because if the policy is not issued you would receice a refund of your initial premium. Hope this helps!
