I work with life settlements which are the sale of life insurance policies to a third party for a value greater than the cash surrender value that the insurance company would give. The client is not required to currently have a life insurance policy as we can often write a policy and sell it to a funder. The transactions are extremely profitable and are designed primarily for senior citizens.
