Way too labor intensive and they keep cutting the commissions. : : : I'm ready to venture out into the health market. We have complete training LTC, Life Ins, Mortgages, Annunities which pay very good. I can show you how to make a very good living doing this. I do eighty percent of my work out of my house and a lot of it is done on the computer. We have residual income on three different products. John : Steve, you and I are in the same boat-been researching for weeks and am wading through all of it, wearing myself out trying to read between the lines of what one company doesn't mention compared to another. I've concluded it will take more research and contacting many successful life and health agents for their opinions before I decide. One thing that is apparent, in my opinion, is that just as in P&C, company rating, reliability and speed of customer service TO ME as far as policy issuance, commissions, etc is extremely important. After working for one carrier vs. being a broker in P&C, I know I never want to go back to not having the right product for the need. I am not capable of twisting or shoehorning. Also, I want to be able to represent a variety of products: term, whole, universal. I never want to be in a position where I don't have a product that fits the clients needs. This is why I wouldn't want to contract with a company that promotes term life only. I'm leaning towards an alliance that gives immediate access to several carriers with a variety of product.
