I own my own book. The P/C guys wouldn't be able to service them if I left anyways. I keep the life commissions, they keep the P/C commissions.

: : : One of the best ways I have found is to partner with Property & Casualty agents (who don't want to sell -- or don't have the time) and work their book of business along with your own. I have just partnered with a P/C agency that has over 5,000 'warm' prospects. I give them a small cut, but for the increase in business it is well worth it!

: Who does the client belong to? You and the p/c person has to be license and appointed with the same co. in order to legally split business. You mean the p/c will let you own his client since you sold him life ins.?
