This benefit will not make you wealthy; however, it will open the door to a group sale (life, health, disability, pre-paid legal, accident, etc.) Very few employers are taking advantage of Section 129 plans that allow their employees to pay for dependent care (child care and elder care) with pre-tax dollars. The admin fee is paid out of the savings that the employer enjoys by not having to pay matching FICA/FUTA taxes on the pre-tax dollars. This is a tremendous door opener that no smart employer can resist. Please e-mail me off board for details.
