Leads can be good if you need some activity, but I have found that internet leads suck in general. Most people who are trolling search egines for insurance quotes have used multiple requests and are going to get bombarded by agents because most lead services sell leads to multiple agents. Mail generated leads can be a little more productive especially for prospects with money, but they are more expensive. I personally use an appointment setting service for part of my business and the old shoe leather approach for the rest.
